Higher Prior Attainers

As our curriculum is designed to challenge and stretch all individuals to their full potential we have provisions in place for students who exceed expectations. We run several extra-curricular clubs to extend their learning even further and make sure they are correctly challenged.

More Able Programme: including support for Oxbridge and medical students.

Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)

Students are identified at KS3 and KS4 according to their combined KS2 results and their FFT target grade; in the Sixth Form, ALPS target help identify the more able students. Students’ academic progress is monitored and if necessary an individual action plan is put in place. Lessons are differentiated to ensure challenge and stretch.
