"Speak Out" Challenge

Our Year 10s enjoyed taking part in the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge on Tuesday 21st January. The day is run by the Speakers' Trust which works across schools in London and Essex to help students learn public speaking skills and to develop their confidence.

The students end the day by delivering a 2 minute speech on a topic of their choice. The Speakers' Trust facilitators were really impressed by our students' engagement and maturity.

We are hosting the regional final here at the Ursuline on 1 April as Toni won the Regional last year. On Monday we will select the students to go through to the final.

Well done to the 8 who were chosen for the semi's on Tuesday! Great work Year 10s!
