International Day of the Girl

To mark International Day of the Girl recently, Leanne in Year 10 had the opportunity to ‘take over’ Shaun Grady’s role as Chair of AstraZeneca UK for the day - as part of the Young Health Programme.

Throughout the day Leanne a passionate advocate for young women’s rights and a budding public speaker shared her insightful perspectives on the importance of diversity in senior leadership. She excelled in her role, a value she brings from being part of student leadership and voice at the Ursuline.
