Chaplaincy Update

All secondary schools and colleges were invited to the Good Shepherd Mass in late April at St George’s Cathedral, with Canon Victor Darlington as the main celebrant, where a number of our students represented our school. We hosted Fr Peter of Sacred Heart parish for our voluntary Ascension Mass in the chapel, well attended by staff and students. We also hosted a ”Mary of the Roses, service in the chapel where staff and students marked the month of May in honour of Our Lady,

Across the term, key liturgies marked moments of transition. Year 11 celebrated their Leavers’ Service with symbolic form items, while the Year 13 Leavers’ Mass at Sacred Heart church reflected on growth and future purpose. A smaller Year 12 Level 2
Leavers’ Service offered focused reflection, and end-of-year Masses gave thanks for
a fantastic year.
