Guardian Young Reporters’

Guardian Young Reporters’- A celebration of your great work!

Four year 12s have taken part in the Guardian  Young Reporters’ programme this year.  They have committed to writing an article every month (with strict journalistic deadlines) and have looked at topics ranging from sustainable travel to play reviews to record-breaking attendances at women’s football, and have marked big events such as Black History Month and LGBTQ+ month, together with celebrating smaller untold stories such as the role of St John’s Ambulance cadets and a newspaper dedicated to positive news! 

They have covered breaking news and interviewed different people from Sadiq Khan (good work Liv!) to the entrepreneur behind a new Italian delicatessen (well done Giulia!).  Great work! Here are some of our favourite of their articles!
