Year 12 students were given an opportunity to really think about their next steps during Career Pathway Day on Tuesday 21st May.
Students were given a formal introduction to the UCAS process and received talks on ‘University Life- What to Expect..’ from Freddie Warner, Kings College University and a valuable session on how to write an effective personal statement from Rhys Phillips from the University of Southampton (above), whose key advice regarding a great personal statement was to ‘redraft.. redraft.. redraft and then redraft again’.
