Feast of the Ascension

This week the church celebrated the solemn feast of the ascension which accounts for Jesus’s ascension into heaven following his crucifixion and Jesus’s promise to remain with us always. 

We marked this occasion with Mass in our school chapel, which was celebrated by Fr. Matthew of Sacred Heart Parish. Students also volunteered to participate by reading and altar serving and one student event braved singing the hallelujah verses which was done brilliantly. The Mass was well attended by both staff and students.
