This week, we had the incredible opportunity to welcome back our alumna, Tishtrya Mehta, as she shared her passion for physics and planetary research with our Year 12 STEM students!
Tishtrya is Data Scientist in the Office for Local Government and spoke to students about the various research her job entails. Including how research of planets take place.
From unraveling the mysteries of the universe to exploring the endless possibilities of scientific discovery, Tishtrya’s journey is proof that curiosity and determination can take you to the stars!
A huge thank you to Tishtrya for igniting excitement and inspiring the next wave of innovators. Who knows? The next big breakthrough in space science might just start in an Ursuline Sixth Form classroom!
Thank you Tishtrya for the visit - still living out our Serviam values we see!
And yes- the telescope was actually named Very Large Telescope!
