At Ursuline Sixth Form we understand the importance of having a smooth transition into the Sixth Form both socially and academically. Our transitions process starts in Year 11, with the opportunity for students to meet their study groups and go through course outlines in July.
On the first day of term, external students are invited to a welcome breakfast. Each new student is paired with a buddy for the first two weeks, and during the first week there are plenty of extra-curricular activities, giving the opportunity for students to get to know new people and broaden their experiences.
Tutor groups are organised to ensure that external students joining the Sixth Form are well integrated. All students receive guidance, help and encouragement from their tutor, to ensure a smooth transition into Sixth Form life.
