The Garden Museum

This term, the Eco Team attended The Garden Museum in Lambeth for an eco-wellbeing retreat led by one of the staff members at the centre. 

During this time, they participated in a "Moss Safari," involving slide observation to identify microscopic organisms.

They also spent time at the centres’ wormery, using digital microscopes to observe worms and learn about how different body segments contribute to soil health and composting. 

The day concluded in the Old Paradise Gardens, just around the corner from the museum, which is enclosed by a hand-woven fence surrounding a large area for food-growing, used by the Garden Museum Café for some of their cooking.
