Theme for the Week: Be Active

Thought for the Week:  “May mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance.”  (Jude 1:2)

Stranger danger

To ensure that you travel safely please be aware of the following:

Never accept a lift off any strangers no matter what they say to you.

Always travel with one or two of your friends.

If you have to walk on your own, stick to busy areas and don’t be tempted to take a short cut.

If you see somebody behaving in a suspicious way or a way that makes you feel uncomfortable cross the road to avoid it. When on school report it straight away.

If you are travelling alone on the bus sit downstairs close to the driver.

It is very unlikely that a stranger will approach you to talk to you. If this does happen walk away and join another group of girls. If there are other adults around tell them. If it is on a bus or in a crowded place you can simply say in a loud voice “Leave me alone. I don’t know you” or tell the driver.

If you are close to school, come into the Office and report it. If you are in the street go into a shop to tell another adult and call your parents/the police.
