Impacting Politics

It is a fact that a significant proportion of older people than younger people vote!

This disproportionately sets the political agenda. Therefore, it is essential young people engage in discussion around politics. We did just that, with our fantastic UHS SixthForm conference today - on "Impacting politics: How to bring about political change."

Our speakers all did an amazing job of giving sixth formers some valuable food for thought on this topic. They really emphasized the value in voting and getting involved in politics. Be it through a political party, or just advocating for a cause close to their hearts.

No pressure at all on any Politics students to ask/answer questions ..

Thank you to all of our speakers for giving up their valuable time to attend our event.

With a particular thank you to our local politicians…
