First Give Philanthropy Winners

Congratulations to 8 Catherine who have won this year’s First Give Philanthropy Final! 

They gained an extra £1000 for their charity Lives Not Knives with their powerful presentation, really driving home the message of what this youth-led charity does to prevent knife crime and how they supported them. In light of the current situation facing our young people we are sure that this will be well utilized. 

All the presentations were amazing and students spoke so passionately about their chosen charities. 

Year 8 have absolutely smashed all previous year’s philanthropy fundraising as a year group, raising a grand total of over £8,000 overall. WOW!!! 

We hope Year 8 all enjoyed the experience and keep in touch with their charities. Amazing work everyone- well done!
