On Thursday 28th June we had ten French students and their teachers visit our school from an Ursuline Secondary school in Normandy. They were greeted by our International Student Leaders in Years 7 & 8, and after their tour of our school, they were busy baking cakes with our students, making cupcakes and muffins to sell at lunchtime in aid for charity. They made 120 cakes which were very popular with our students and staff and in total they raised nearly £100 for the charity ‘Women’s Education Partnership’ which helps to promote the education of women in the Sudan.

The students thoroughly enjoyed their visit and our students enjoyed meeting and talking to them finding out about life in an Ursuline Secondary school in France
