GCSE music students travelled to the Tower of London this month for a day of performance as part of the Water Music Festival. Pupils took part in singing as part of a combined secondary school choir to parents, guests and visitors to the London attraction, performing in front of the White Tower.

Later on in the afternoon groups of students were selected to perform their own compositions on stage as part of showcasing exciting young composer talent. Pupils composed songs on the theme of 'Fortress, Palace, Prison'. Only 3 London schools were selected to take part in this section of the day and UHS pupils were the youngest, a great testimony to their creative talents!

Many thanks to all staff involved in making the day a success.
