Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England. It is designed to help disadvantaged pupils of all abilities perform better, and close the gap between them and their peers.

The Vision for Disadvantaged Students:

At the heart of the work with Disadvantaged students at The Ursuline is a belief that no student will be left behind. The Disadvantaged Strategy and its implementation is underpinned by the values of Serviam and the Catholic ethos of preferential option for the poor. We are creating an environment of equity, in which the academic, spiritual and personal development of every student will flourish. Every student, regardless of their background, will receive the same opportunities as any other in our school.
