Deadline for submitting the SIF to our school

In order for the Ursuline High School to consider an application, applicants must also submit the Common Application Form to their local authority.

11th December 2019

Deadline for submitting 'late for good reason' SIF's to our school

Closing date for applications that have been classified as 'Late for good reason. The reason and evidence must also be included with the application. For me information on late applications visit your local authority website

 

1st March 2019

National Offer Day

Online applicants will be notified of outcome on the evening of 1st March 2019 by their local authorities.

 

 

Ursuline High School will send out letters to applicants who have completed a Supplementary Information Form.

15th March 2019

Deadline for return of acceptances

This is the date by which you must let us know weather or not you accept the offer of a place in Year 7

End of March/ Beginning of April

2nd Round Offers

Any vacancies available in the second round will be offered to applicants on the waiting list according to our Admissions Policy.

Appeal Intentions

Deadline for Parents/Carers to inform the school of their intention to appeal.

Waiting list position available on website

Applicants who have confirmed they would like their daughter to remain on our waiting list are able to track the position on our website using their unique application number.

Parents Evenings

Successful applicants are invited by letter to attend a new intake parents evening to brief parents about how we plan the transition from Year 8 to Year 7.

Student Testing

Successful applicants must attend Maths and English tests at the school to enable us to accurately set students in order to provide them with academic targets and suitable support.

Student Interview Day

New students will be invited with their parents to discuss the student's individual strengths, requests and any individual needs.

Appeal Paperwork

Deadline for Parents/Carers to submit all paperwork to support the appeal.

Appeal Hearings

Appeals are scheduled to be heard by the end of May.

Student Induction Day

 An enjoyable opportunity for new students to spend a day at school and meet their classmates.
