On Tuesday 12th December we held our annual Christmas Tea Party for elderly members of the community. It was a very festive atmosphere, with our school choir singing christmas songs such as ‘Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer’ and ‘Silent Night’. There was also plenty of tea and cake- which the Year 7 students very kindly baked and served themselves!

As some of our guests are Ursuline Alumnae, it was also a time for swapping stories of school ‘in the good old days’, and many a black and white photo was shared around- with countless stories of youth recounted by all. The afternoon was rounded off nicely by a good old fashioned game of ‘bingo’- the Christmas version- obviously!

A fantastic example of ‘Christmas spirit’ and serviam at work!
